I've been trying to track down the source of occasional node adapter crashes for sometime, so I've added some new routines to ensure that only one thing is going on at a time. Version 0.988a adds some new routines:
1) At the end of each local transmission, it checks that the buffer is empty and that the PTT has been dropped. This is a good indication that the cycle is over.
2) I've added some 10ms "usleeps" between the calls that set-up the outgoing header.
So far, so good....
